I’ve always loved stories about teenagers forced to make impossible choices.

Books like The Hunger Games and Divergent stayed with me long after I finished them; not just because of their dystopian worlds, but because they understood something true about being a teenager. The fear. The pressure. The feeling that nobody fully understands what's happening inside.

Now I write YA speculative thrillers set in eerie Oregon small towns, where isolation, secrets, and emotional survival collide.

My stories explore themes of loneliness, fear, control, sacrifice, and identity through speculative and fantasy lenses. I love blending the unreal with deeply human emotions because sometimes it’s easier to process hard truths when they’re wrapped inside monsters, conspiracies, or impossible worlds.

As both a writer and a mom, I care deeply about creating age-appropriate fiction for teens and tweens that doesn’t sacrifice emotional depth. I want to write stories young readers can connect with. Stories they don’t have to hide from their parents, but that still leave them feeling seen, unsettled, understood, and hopeful.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading, chasing two toddlers around my house, or wandering through the Oregon woods wondering what might be hiding just beyond the trees.

My Current WIP

Something is wrong with Lilith.

People are disappearing. Everyone is lying. And Lilith has to figure out the truth before more people die.

Through half-truths, experimentation, and a dangerously complicated love story, she finds out that maybe she was the reason people were getting killed. And the monster inside of her may be causing the disappearances.

Can she control the monster before it's too late?
